Moen Photography Concepts

Throughout my time leading Moen literature, we’ve looked to create new imagery to highlight different priority areas. These are examples of photo shoots I’ve concepted and executed on with the team around me.

A style to suit you

Modern, Transitional and Traditional are the three style categories that Moen’s products sit in. For our 2024 catalog, we wanted to showcase defining features of those styles with a backdrop that supported. I concepted our approach and partnered with Moen’s Senior Creative Style Manager Danielle DeBoe Harper, as well as, TRG to style and capture.

A finish for Every Style

The first time that the internal creative team, Creative X, took over our Moen Style Guide in 2023, we looked to find a new way to showcase our finishes. Through exploration we aligned on featuring product and our finish chips to lay as a backdrop to tell each finish’s story.

A Finish for Every Style. An Evolution.

After two years of use, we looked to evolve how we told our finish story. While our 2023 shoot still is used throughout the business, we found new needs for finish features that the original shoot did not provide solutions for. The needs were primarily for our emails and ECOMM assets. I collaborated with our Digital Content Designer to concept a shoot that would capture our product in a way that the finish would really be the feature to allow for maximum and versatile usage of the images.

the world's most precious resource

Mission Moen is our promise to protect and preserve the world's most precious resource — from the water that runs through our faucets, to the streams, rivers and oceans of the natural world. Since 2020 Moen’s helped save over 178 billion gallons of water through our product innovations alone. Changes like that are how Moen plans to save 1 trillion gallons of water by 2030, all while helping you enjoy it more. Historically we have used flatlays of product in combination with ocean recycled plastics to convey the Mission Moen initiative. However, with a turn more toward water conservation, we needed refreshed visuals to better connect. Myself and my graphic designer, Emma Vogel, concepted approach to capture water in it’s abstract form both through stills and video.
